New Video: Promira Serial Platform Unboxing and Quick Start
The Promira Serial Platform is our premier I2C and SPI development tool that can support a variety of system requirements including:
Advanced I2C and/or SPI master/slave speeds
Integrated level shifting capabilities
Ethernet connectivity
Additional GPIO and Slave Select lines
In our latest video release, watch the unboxing of the Promira Serial Platform and how to easily get started using this tool for your I2C and SPI applications:
Data Center Software Series: USB 2.0 & USB 3.0 Simple and Complex Matching and Triggers
The Data Center Software offers USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 simple and complex matching and triggering capabilities that allow developers to trigger data captures, filter data, or set external triggers by matching data patterns, packet types, error types, and much more. This allows engineers to better understand how bus events, data, or errors are linked to USB bugs, streamlining the debugging process.
In these blog posts, we discuss these functionalities in greater detail, as well as the different settings that can be configured for USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 data captures.
New App Note: MDIO Sniffing and Emulation Using Total Phase Tools
Looking to monitor MDIO traffic? By using the Beagle I2C/SPI Protocol Analyzer with Data Center Software v2.20, users can sniff MDIO data on the bus in real time and filter for various MDIO parameters to narrow down on areas of interest.
While not natively supported, users also looking to emulate an MDIO master can configure the Promira Serial Platform with the Promira Software API to support this function.
The Beagle and Aardvark are great and easy to use tools to work with I2C platforms. Integrated with Data Center and Control Center transforms my research and test environment in a very powerful platform.
