Firmware Update: Advanced Cable Tester v2 Firmware 2.1.0
|
A new firmware update has been released for the Advanced Cable Tester v2. This new update, release v2.1.0, includes added support for convertible USB cables, test enhancements, and other general improvements. The additional support for convertible USB cables includes:
- Additional Ground Tie configurations for USB Standard-A to USB Standard-B and USB Micro-B cables
- Support for all separate, Shield tied to GND, Shield tied to GND_drain, GND_drain tied to GND, and all tied configurations
Test enhancements include:
- Faster performance speed for all tests
- Enhanced quiescent current measurement accuracy
- Added cable serial number to all Lightning tests
- Enhancements for slowest speeds of signal integrity testing
General improvements include:
- Enhancements to the firmware flash process
- Upgrades to embedded firmware page
- Implementation of sound fixes
