New Video: Using General CAN Mode in the Komodo GUI Software
|
The Komodo CAN Duo Interface is a powerful two-channel USB-to-CAN adapter and bus monitor. It is capable of active CAN data transmission as well as non-intrusive CAN bus monitoring. When used with the Komodo GUI Software, users can
access various CAN functions of the Komodo interface in an easy-to-use graphical interface, including:
- Batch mode
- Periodic messaging
- GPIO configuration interface
- and much more.
Specifically, the General CAN Mode in the Komodo GUI Software is designed for general-purpose CAN communication. This mode allows users to send and receive data on a CAN bus. Given a specific time interval, the software can send messages on a regular, periodic basis. All CAN packets, events, and errors are shown in the transaction log. In this recently published video, we will show how to get started using the General CAN Mode in the Komodo GUI Software and how this feature can be used by programming a CAN activity board as an example. New Case Study: Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer/Convergence Instruments
|
Convergence Instruments is a global designer and producer of affordable, high-performance solutions used to acquire and analyze data detected from motion, vibration, and acoustic measurements within systems. One of their products, the Acoustic Camera ACAM_64, is a composite USB device that includes multiple interfaces each with their own descriptor information. To ensure that all three interfaces worked together properly and could be serviced by the MCU without timing issues, they utilized the Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer in all development phases including testing, debugging, and final validation. The Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer is a non-intrusive High-speed USB 2.0 bus monitor that includes real-time USB class-level decoding. Read the full case study to learn how Convergence Instruments used the Beagle analyzer to debug and develop their USB-based product.
