2020 is over and 2021 is among us. While we head into the new year, we wanted to reflect on our latest releases and updates of 2020. Check out Total Phase's highlights from this past year:
New ARM APIs + API Updates
In 2020, we introduced new APIs compatible with 32-bit ARM-based platforms. These ARM APIs will allow users to run our products* on popular ARM platforms including Raspberry Pi.
In addition, we have also released updates for our current product APIs* supporting Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. These APIs now support Python 3.9 and include performance and usability improvements. We've also added two new example programs for the Aardvark Software API to provide updated support for C# and multi-programming.

*ARM APIs and API updates are available for all products excluding the Promira Serial Platform. This will be released at a later date.
Komodo GUI Now Supports 64-bit Applications
Total Phase also introduced a new version of the Komodo GUI Software, a software that provides access to the CAN functions of the Komodo CAN Interface. The new v1.60 adds support for 64-bit operating systems.

Advanced Cable Tester v2 Firmware v2.5 Release
We also released a new firmware update for the Advanced Cable Tester v2: Firmware version 2.5.0. This update includes:
- An increase in module insertion count limits
- An option to disable USB De-emphasis
- Type-C configurable delay before Ra measurements
- A loosened continuity threshold

Control Center Serial Software 4.1 Release
We released a new version of the Control Center Serial Software, version 4.1. Version 4.1 offers performance improvements and fixes.

New PyPI Support for Aardvark
We've made our best-selling Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter even more adaptable for individual I2C and SPI project requirements. The Aardvark Software API is now supported by Python Package Index, or PyPI. This allows users who work with our Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter and Python API to easily download and install all API packages with a single command.
