The Advanced Cable Tester v2 was introduced to our product line for testing and validating cables. This is our second generation cable tester with major upgrades and enhancements from its predecessor, and now supports a variety of cable and connector types for USB, HDMI, and DisplayPort cables. It comprehensively tests cables for pin continuity, DC resistance, E-Marker, and signal integrity. This tool is recommended by USB-IF and Apple as a cable testing solution for their technologies. DisplayPort Support for the Advanced Cable Tester v2 To expand our support for testing video cables, we introduced the DisplayPort to DisplayPort Connector Module, which allows users to test DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables with specifications 2.0 and earlier on the Advanced Cable Tester v2. With one tool, testers can easily verify pin continuity, DC resistance, and signal integrity on DisplayPort cables. Control Center Serial Software v4.0 Release We released Control Center Serial Software v4.0, adding support for 64-bit systems and compatibility with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X systems. Along with supporting the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter and Promira Serial Platform, this version now also supports the Cheetah SPI Host Adapter and encompasses Cheetah GUI capabilities including viewing detailed information about the SPI transaction.
