Website Refresh: New Changes and Improvements
|
Have you checked out our website lately? We recently did a website refresh to modernize its look and layout, making it easier for our customers to find and learn about the embedded tools we offer as well as make our collection of resources more accessible. Some improvements include:
- More easily find I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, eSPI and Cable Testing tools directly on the homepage, as well as drill down further for respective software, APIs, drivers, accessory cables/boards, etc.
- Quickly navigate to our collection of resources from the header menu, including Videos, App Notes, Whitepapers, User Manuals, Quick Start Guides, Knowledge Base articles, and Software Downloads.
- More easily find relevant resources directly on the product pages, including Software Downloads, User Manuals, Quick Start Guides, and Support.
- More easily find access to Sales and Support information and teams.
We are still hard at work continuing to enhance the website and will be making more updates and improvements over the next coming months. To check out our latest updates, please visit: Total Phase Website

New Case Study: Advanced Cable Tester v2 - Crestron Electronics
|
Crestron Electronics is a global leader in workplace technologies, engineering and transforming corporate automation and unified communication (UC) solutions for enterprise organizations across numerous industries. Some of Crestron's products incorporate USB and HDMI cables within the product designs, and with the company’s commitment to quality, they focus on ensuring each individual component and finished good meets their rigorous standards. During the testing stage of the product development process, Crestron had formerly observed inconsistencies in product performance that were linked to poorly performing cables. By using the Advanced Cable Tester v2, the Quality Assurance team was able to quickly test cables to help distinguish which cables performed properly or not. This helped them to exclusively integrate quality cables into their product designs and meet their commitment to delivering the highest quality products to their customers.

Featured Blog/Video: Programming I2C EEPROMs

By using Total Phase host adapters, including the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter, Cheetah SPI Host Adapter, or Promira Serial Platform, users are able to perform a multitude of memory programming applications. For out-of-the-box programming, these tools can be used in conjunction with the Control Center Serial Software for easy access to the tools' I2C and/or SPI functions or the Flash Center Software as a convenient method to program one or more serial memory devices simultaneously. To show how memory programming can be easily performed using our tools, our video, Programming an EEPROM with a Total Phase I2C Host Adapter, shows how to use the Aardvark adapter to quickly program an I2C EEPROM while using our I2C/SPI Activity Board as an example. Watch the video here: Total Phase also offers a free API for those wanting to develop a more customized or automated programming process. One of our recent blogs explores options for programming I2C/SPI EEPROMs or Flash memory devices using our own software, along with other API options.
