32-bit and 64-bit Software API and Shared Library for C, C#, Python 2/3, .NET, VB.NET, and VB6 to use with the Promira™ Serial Platform with I2C/SPI Active Applications.

For backwards-compatibility with applications developed with the Aardvark API, we provide a Wrapper API to get you started.

Note: Future versions of the Promira Firmware (after v2019-04-23) will not be compatible with API versions older than v1.40. We encourage all customers using the API to upgrade to the latest API v1.4 to maintain compatibility with future firmware releases.

  • Linux: Ubuntu 22.04 or later, RHEL 7 or later, etc., on x86_32, x86_64, armhf
  • macOS 11 or later, on x86_64 (Intel) and arm64 (Apple Silicon)
Note: In all cases, earlier operating system versions are compatible with our software, but the availability of technical support, upgrades, and bugfixes is limited to versions of platforms within the respective vendor support period. Earlier versions of our software may be necessary for compatibility with earlier operating system versions, on an as-is basis.
Linux note: The software has been designed for Red Hat, Ubuntu, Fedora, and SuSE. Please be aware that there may be significant differences and idiosyncrasies in the way that different distributions of Linux operate. As such, Total Phase may not be able to support your particular distribution of Linux. Support will be offered on a case-by-case basis.
