What is an I2C Device and How to Work with It
frank

The Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter is a useful tool for any engineer that works with I2C devices.

In this short video, we'll give you a quick overview of how to read and write I2C messages using the I2C Control panel of the Control Center Software. This is a great way to make sure an I2C device is configured properly and behaving as expected.

We'll also look at the Batch Mode feature which can execute a series of I2C commands in sequence. This can be really useful for repetitive tasks such as initializing a device by writing a series of registers.

We'll be working with an I2C EEPROM in this video, but you can use the same techniques to work with any type of I2C device.
