Total Phase at Embedded World Germany 2025
Kathleen Chan

This past week, Total Phase participated at Embedded World 2025 held in Nuremberg, Germany! Embedded World is a global tradeshow focused on the latest innovations in embedded systems, showcasing technologies and solutions for industries like automotive, IoT, and automation. As in previous years, we shared a booth with our German distributor, eVision Instruments.

At the booth, Total Phase had three live demonstrations. On one station, we had the Promira Serial Platform driving an I2C accelerometer, while the Beagle I2C/SPI Protocol Analyzer monitored the I2C traffic in our Data Center Software. You can view a similar demo of this here: Prototyping I2C Systems with an I2C Host Adapter and Protocol Analyzer

The second station featured our Advanced Cable Tester v2, which was testing various USB and video cables. View our cable testing demo here: Testing USB and Video Cables with the Advanced Cable Tester v2

Finally, the Komodo CAN Duo Interface was used to drive our CAN/I2C Activity Board using the Komodo GUI Software, while simultaneously monitoring the CAN bus in our Data Center Software. A video on using the Komodo interface can be viewed here: Record and Playback CAN Traffic Using the Komodo CAN Duo Interface

We had the rest of our product portfolio on display as well.

The Komodo CAN Duo Interface caught many attendees’ interest as there was a significant demand for CAN testing and debugging.

There was also strong interest in our I2C and SPI products, particularly for high-speed applications and Quad SPI programming. For attendees that require a host adapter at higher speeds, we recommended the Promira Serial Platform, which can support I2C up to 3.4 MHz and SPI up to 80 MHz.

We also had the opportunity to meet with our European distributors. We were able to learn more about business in their individual geographies and keep them updated on Total Phase news. It’s always good to catch up over schnitzel and apfelstrudel!

Before the show, we explored the nearby town of Furth to do some sight-seeing. The weather was warm so we were able to walk around and take in the architecture. The tower of the Rathaus, or town hall, was modeled off of the Palazzo Vecchio in Italy!

We had a great time connecting with so many embedded systems engineers, both new and returning customers! We’re excited to participate in the upcoming Embedded World North America 2025 show in Anaheim.
