We have the Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer and it’s worked really well for us. We’re starting a new project that requires toggling one of the output-signals when there are specific conditions such as when the packet length=6. For these capabilities, looking at the specifications, it looks like we need to use a more advanced protocol analyzer. We’re not sure, but we may have to test this on both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. We don’t foresee any need for power measurements. Our questions:
Thanks for your questions! The Beagle USB 480 protocol analyzer cannot be upgraded. For your immediate system requirements on the USB 2.0 bus, you can use the Beagle USB 480 Power Protocol Analyzer - Ultimate Edition.
For the option of upgrading your protocol analyzer for future projects, we recommend the Beagle USB 5000 v2 Protocol Analyzer - Standard Edition or Ultimate Edition, which can support USB 2.0/USB 3.0.
